FEPA is an association of European manufacturers of abrasive products and their Trade Associations and members include the largest abrasive companies in the world.

The Institute oversees the creation, promulgation and use of thousands of norms and guidelines that directly impact businesses in nearly every sector: from acoustical devices to construction equipment, from dairy and livestock production to energy distribution, and many more.

The mission of the UAMA is to undertake those activities that can be pursued more effectively by an Association than individual companies in order to enable the industry to freely create and market safe, productive abrasive products throughout the world.

The German Abrasives Association (VDS) was founded on January 4, 1917 and its main purpose is to attend to all matters of the abrasives and abrasive tools industry. The association will strictly avoid the involvement in party political and ideological affairs.

In an industry becoming increasingly globalized, The British Abrasives Federation (BAF) provides a vehicle whereby abrasive suppliers in the UK have the opportunity to take an active role in the generation of safety rules, regulations and standards common to all participating countries.
